Over time I've amassed quite a large collection of other Linux Based SBC's many of which are capable of out performing the Raspberry Pi, also many of which should be capable, but don't currently have the correct software support to fully drive the graphic or sound hardware.
There's also a fair few older and less powerful boards which don't quite match the performance, but nevertheless are still capable of being used as fun development targets.
I'll keep details of systems where I have successfuly got the games to build and run, and notes of any specific issues they presented. Also I maintain an occasional blog HERE that lists my experience with the collection.
The Forum contains discussion and info on different boards and some of the problems you might have with them.
The video on the left is my standard test maze video, I try to get running on all systems, sometimes with a different camera. It is a basic model display, with Animation, vector interpolation, Physics, and multiple characters (no AI) and shows a simple ray cast occulsion system in action. This particular version is running on a Raspberry Pi3B at 1080p at 60FPS with a single core, any system with GPU acceleration should manage this.
