This will probably be best sent to Github, but I will explore, and see if we can keep some videos or other content here. If you have a game written as a result of reading the book, drop me a mail, I'd love to promote it here.

Below you'll find some video demonstrations and samples of projects that aren't covered in the book but show what's possible on Single Board Computers like the Raspberry Pi.

I make no apologies for featuring some of the amazing work from my students over the last few years. They are stars of tomorrow.

Video Demonstrations

Tycro's Block B Project

This a fun little project and commentary from one of 2023's BUas students, Bogdan (Tycro), using a slightly older template than we have now. He was tasked with doing an endless runner based on the old Atari game Pitfall. He thinks it sucks but I think for 8 weeks, the 1st time doing OpenGLES3 he did rather well!

Sebastian's Block B project

An absolute banger of a project from Seb, another 2024 1st year, really pushing the limits of the Pi4 and in only 8 weeks.

Jack's Block B project

The Class of 2024/25 really did produce some wonderful work, MGS was clearly a project they really enjoyed. Jack produced this amazing 100/100 grade effort.

Oktay's Block B project

Another great project from the class of 2024/25 This time Oktay did his own environment and made the stealth elements more pronounced. Lovley work.

David's Block B project

And another fun project this time from David a 2024 BUas Student using the cross platform framework. This year students were tasked with producing a version of Metal Gear Solid, a classic stealth game. 1st in 2D in block A but in Block B in 3D on the Pi4. David did a great job, it's a shame the video isn't longer to really show off the features he built in.
